What happens if I lose internet connection?
Your progress is automatically saved, so you can continue where you left off when you reconnect. The app works offline for viewing completed challenges and basic navigation.
How long do hunts typically take?
Hunt duration varies from 30 minutes to 3+ hours depending on the hunt. Each hunt displays its estimated duration, and you can filter hunts by length to find one that fits your schedule.
Can I replay a hunt I've already completed?

How do I create my own hunt?
Click "Create Hunt" in the navigation to start the hunt creation wizard. Follow the step-by-step process to add your hunt details, challenges, and media. Once submitted, it will be reviewed and published.

Great hunts combine interesting locations, engaging challenges, and clear instructions. Include a mix of easy and challenging puzzles, use local knowledge, and make sure all locations are accessible to players.
Can I charge money for my hunts?
Yes! You can set a price for your hunts when creating them. CityHunts handles all payment processing, and you'll receive a portion of the revenue from your paid hunts.
How long does hunt approval take?
Hunt approval typically takes 1-3 business days. Our team reviews each hunt to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with our guidelines. You'll be notified once your hunt is approved or if any changes are needed.
Can I edit my hunt after it's published?
Yes, you can edit your hunts at any time. Go to "My Hunts" in your profile to find your created hunts and make changes. Major changes may require re-approval.
What types of challenges can I create?
You can create various challenge types: riddles, photo challenges, location-based puzzles, historical questions, observation challenges, and more. Be creative and use your local knowledge!

How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up" in the navigation and fill out the registration form. You'll need to provide an email address, choose a username, and create a password. Verification will be sent to your email.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click "Login" and then "Forgot Password?" on the login page. Enter your email address and you'll receive a password reset link. Follow the instructions to create a new password.
Can I change my username?
Currently, usernames cannot be changed after account creation. Choose your username carefully as it will be displayed on your profile and any hunts you create.
How do I update my profile?
Go to your profile page and click "Edit Profile". You can update your bio, avatar, and other profile information. Changes are saved automatically.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, please contact our support team. We'll help you through the process and ensure your data is properly removed from our systems.

You can set prices from $0 (free) to $50 for your hunts. Consider the value, length, and uniqueness of your hunt when setting a price. Popular hunts typically range from $5-$20.
When do I receive payments for my hunts?
Payments for your hunts are processed monthly. You'll receive your earnings around the 15th of each month for sales from the previous month.

The website isn't loading properly. What should I do?
Try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, or using a different browser. If the problem persists, check your internet connection and contact our support team.
My progress isn't saving. How can I fix this?
Make sure you're logged into your account and have a stable internet connection. Progress is automatically saved, but you can also manually save by completing a challenge.
The map isn't showing correctly. What's wrong?
Check that location services are enabled in your browser and device settings. If you're still having issues, try refreshing the page or using a different browser.
I can't upload images for my hunt. What should I do?
Make sure your images are in JPG, PNG, or GIF format and under 10MB each. If you're still having trouble, try using a different browser or check your internet connection.
The app is running slowly. How can I improve performance?
